How does Sigmound Freuds findings relate to the novel A Separate Peace?

sigmound freuds findings being the id the ego and the super ego. i think it has something to do with the way the boys think. Finny was like the Id. Finny always did what he wanted and then talked his way out of it. He didn’t study for school. He played sports because he didn’t have to do stuff he didn’t enjoy, like studying. He didn’t care what other people thought.

Do you guys think this would be a good answer? also what do you think gene would be? please i need help! im getting confused majorly
