How does Subway (the food place) work?

Question

I went yesterday and got really confused. I thought you could just get one of the things on the menu like, 'meatball marina' or whatever but i asked for chicken and bacon then they asked me what bread what salad and what sauce etc... What are you meant to say?

subway lets you have the toppings of your choice so you tell them what you want on your sandwich, its as simple as that

yea. you can choose all the stuff like sauce and toppings in subway. so when you want 'meatball marina' .. you get to choose the bread, the sauce, the veggies, onions and the what nots. so if you don't want, for example, onions and olives, then you just tell the guy that you don't want them. yea.. i think it's rather cool that you can choose your toppings cause i absolutely hate onions and olives.. anws.. once you visit subway more often.. you will get used to it :D

Subway is east. First you have to tell the person what kind of sandwich you want. Like meatball, cheese/steak etc. Then you have to tell the person what kind of bread you would like. Like whole wheat and so on. Then other than the meatball's or whatever else you ordered you get to top you sandwich. Such as you are asked if you want lettuce, tomatoes and so on. Last of all they ask what kind of topping you want on top of all the stuff like mayo and musturd. Its easy!

meat ball sub on italian bread if your female 6" Male 12" with american cheese, lettuce if you like it tomato onion pickle green pepper its so easy.

They want you to pick everything you like so you dont have to pick anything off and enjoy your sandwich

You answer with what you want and if you don't know what would taste good, you ask the maker what they would recommend or what is popular for that particular sandwich.

I work at subway and you can just ask us what sauces complement the filling that you intend to get in the sub.

As for salads.. thats really up to personal preference, the same thing goes with the bread.

Here goes the normal order of things:

1) Bread

2) Filling, tell us then if you want double meat or double cheese

3) Would you like your bread fresh or toasted? :p

4) Salads

5) Pick the sauce you want, or if you're unsure.. just ask us for something that complements the filling you desire

6) Any salt/pepper

7) Drinks or cookies?

That's pretty much it.

omg its horrible isnt it!?!? not the food, the foods great, but the first time you go and they ask you all these questions! i was so lost i ended up sayin i didnt want any cheese or salad or anything cuz i was to scared to answer more questions lol.

i think i might go to subway later on my way to work
