How does Telus pay & talk actual mintues work?

Okay, so I'm planning to buy a telus prepaid phone. But I'm wondering how do the minutes work..like if i call for 15 seconds, will they still charge for the full minute? Cuz i know some services that do that.

 To add on to the answer above, if you decide to go with a Telus Pay and Talk plan, then I recommend getting their One Number Unlimited add-on for $7 / month and using a service like http://churp.me to reduce you per / minute calling rate from 30 cents down to 5. I personally use the service and have found it great for somebody who doesn't like phone contracts and wants to use their mobile as their main phone number.
