How does Vanish Stain Remover remove stains?

It seems to take anything off my clothes. How does it work?

It sounds like "good stuff."  Where do you get it?

I've found nothing that works great, myself.

So I'd be interesting in seeing your responses.

P.S.    I recently learned that isopropyl alcohol takes out chewing gum out of fabric!  (thought I'd share that info...)
