How does WIC know if you are working or not? Can you lie without getting caught in order to qualify?

Like...can someone bring in only 1 check from their household in order to qualify? Just curious because my cousin is on it and I think they make enough $.

Well the real question is how would you sleep at night knowing that you lied to make a living? There are other ways to make money honestly.

If you get caught doing that, it is fraud.  If you are married, its harder to get away with it.  But if you aren't then its easy.  But you shouldn't do it.  If you can pay your own way then why cheat the babies who need it out of food.

this is the computer age and they CAN find out. they request pay stubs and such and when i used it 10 years ago, they wanted my taxes for the year or they wouldnt even consider me.
