How does Western Union work? Can i send money (cash) to my friend in England?

Yes you should be able to. You just go to the nearest location to you (they are usually in grocery stores , etc.) fill out a small form give them the money then your friend goes to the nearest location to them and picks it up. they charge you like 12 dollars to send it across the U.S. but they'll probably charge you like 30 to send it to England.

Absolutely, anywhere in Europe and most of the world.  They have horses with pontoons now.  jk.  Western Union is quite safe.  Mike

The first answer is correct except for one thing.  How much they charge depends on how much you send as well.
