How does Yahoo! Music work?

i've never used it before, but its because i don't have a clue what it's all about or how to make it work. and would it work on a internet connection of 48kbps or less?

You can read what it is directly from Yahoo:

And yes, you can tell it whether you have high speed internet or not.  If you have dialup internet then the songs will play in a lower quality.

I'd suggest downloading it and giving it a try.  You'll see what it is like that way.
