  1. it all depends how you train

but i dont think there is suck thing as a 100km marathon

there is only one type of marathon and thats a 42km

it might have a differnt name.

but if you are planning to do this make sure you can first off

cause remeber train hard race easy.

  2. you are thinking of the supermarathon..it is 100 miles...and its in one day...its a very slow pace

  3. First off a 100K(known as ultra) is 62 miles a marathon is 26.2 miles.  I've done a very difficult 50K, which always fills up its maximum entries.  Yes, you do it in one day, and what ever pace you can handle for that long.  The 50K I did had about 5 rest stops, loaded with everything you can think of....drinks, food (peanut butter/jelly sand.), and even ibuprofen!!  Those near the front either don't stop or quick 15-30 secs. stop (what I did) to grab drinks and gels.  Others just looking to finish may stop for a few min. or so, to get your body the calories needed.  My body survived the 50K, and I'd do another.....but 100K is just to much.  I was sore for about 2-3 days afterward.  Hope this explained somewhat.

  4. There are several ultra marathon races.

    Some are longer than 100K.

They are done in one day.

The runners are allowed to stop and rest, or eat.

If you are conditioned you can survive 100K and much more.
