How does a 12 year old earn money?

OK so I'm 12 and i want money because my parents can't pay for all the stuff i want and i cant open a lemonade stand (plus at 12 it's pathetic). I can't get a job where i go into houses and i don't get an allowance.HELP!!!

Ask your parents if it's OK if you start doing odd jobs for people in your neighborhood. Cutting the grass, weeding gardens, raking up leafs. Make sure your parents know where you are, and what you're doing though. Ask them for help in starting your little business. :)

If I was 12 again and knew what I know now, I'd do a couple of things...

Start an online business - This can be as simple or complex as you want to make it.  If you have the skill to make nice websites, you can learn about affiliate marketing and sell products that way.  However, a better option for you might be to create handmade crafts that you then sell through a site like Etsy.com.

Get a job - Not a "real" job, you're not old enough.  But neighbors may be willing to pay you a decent amount for things like mowing their grass, walking their dogs, and cleaning their cars.  Be creative about it...try making a simple flyer offering general services to the neighborhood and go door to door (with your parents approval of course).

Sell your old stuff - If you have a lot of things you no longer want, try having a yard sale and advertising it with flyers in your neighborhood.  You can also sell lemonade at the sale, and then its not as pathetic (and money is money, so who cares?!)

okay you could get a job baby sitting, ask your parents for an allowence and tell them you will do extra chores for it

12 year olds are not allowed to work, at least not in my state. You can babysit though. Other than that, your outta luck.

Hey I'm 12 as well, I'm on my mum's account, she lets me, but some ways to earn money are to sell some of your old things unless you like them or want them for memories, or if you have any homemade crafting skills make bookmarks, keychains etc. and sell them. Hope it helps I know it sounds a bit silly, but it works sometimes. Also, I am in Ireland, so maybe things work differently in other countries.

kk i had the same problem but then again i was 12 in simpler times but i have some ideas so if u wanted 2 u could have a garage same with sum of ur friends u could also do some chores around the house that's only if u don't already do chores u could also clean the car aka vacuum and wash well i hope u will get some xtra cash soon bibi for now at leaste
