How does a 15 year old make money??

I hate babysitting, I have interviewed at Burger King, Perkin's, Culver's, The Dollar Store, Dollar General, KFC, Kmart, the local grocery store..and NO ONE will hire me!!! : ( I don't know what to do. My parents don't give me an allowance anymore. WHY WON'T ANYONE HIRE ME??? I am smart, friendly, qualified.....!!!!! 97% of people that work at my local Burger King are retarded. literally stupid. Never get orders right, flunk high school, aren't friendly..What do I do? How do I get a job and how can I make some $$$$$$$$??????

Aside from babysitting, 15 year olds can do common jobs like

- Yard work

- Dog walking

You didn't mention if you actually did anything to earn your allowance. Try asking your parents if you can receive pay from

- Washing/putting away dishes

- Washing laundry

- Vacuuming

- Helping out with table/meals

You can go to your counselor at your school and he/she can give pointers to places in your area that you can work. Most counselors should be prepared with this information and can probably help you build an impressive resume' (which will strengthen your chance to win over an employer).

That said, by the way, it is important to have some kind of resume'. Though it may not look like much, simply having a resume' at 15 would be EXTREMELY impressive to an employer and they WILL think twice. When I was around your age, my bosses told me all of the time it was unheard of for a 16 year old kid to have a resume'. Google around for ideas of what to place on your resume'.

The best thing you can do is continue looking for a job if you want a proper job. Ask around (friends, friends parents, parent's friends) and you will be surprised at what you can find out.

First; cut the attitude.  If you see others as retarded and literally stupid, no one will hire you.  Second; find a place that is hiring and convince them you want to work hard and you are the best person for the job.  (Focus on your good qualities, not on the bad qualities of others.)

Coldstone hires at 15. Publix hires at 14. Very few fast food restaurants will hire below 16 because of their liability insurance (I was a floor supervisor at McDonald's when I was 16)

After you apply, call them, follow up. Make sure they understand you are interested in the position.

But, because of your situation you may be going into interviews very aggressively. Just calm down and be yourself.
