20 dollars will buy you anywhere from an 1/8th to a 1/4 of decent (not awesome) weed, depending on where you live. I've heard it's a lot cheaper out west (lucky b******s).

In other words, about five to seven joints worth of weed...

Ava, not cheaper, but a whole lot better in quality in the West.  1/8 to 1/4 gram is a fair price to pay for so-so weed, but in the West, $20 might get you 2 "really good" joints.  "Really good" meaning you don't want to share with your friends and a few hits (2-3) will do you.

Not very much.  Back in the 70s it was a huge whopping baggy.  Now, about a tablespoon or so.
