If you check the stats for IIF, an ETF for India, they paid $11.9 dividend last December and another big dividend of $8.6 in June.

Now the fund is trading around $24.

Isn't that 90% return?

  1. Well its forward yield is 1.5%

That must have been a special dividend. Is it an income fund? The capital growth would be paid as a dividend.
