How does a GTO compare to a Mustang?

What are the speed differences in a stock 2006 GTO and a new stock Mustang GT? (acceleration, top speed, 1/4 mile, etc.) Because i have a friend that is telling me that a stock mustang would beat a new gto

a new mustang GT would not be able to touch a 06 GTO, they are 6.0's, 400 hp and a 13.1 1/4 mile @ 108

the mustang GT has a 4.6L with a WHOPPING(sarcasm) 300 hp, they are heavier and slower

dont know exact speed difference but a stock GTO should beat a stock Mustang GT
