How does a cemetery maintain security?

...against vandalism, place for drug use and profanity, and other common crimes commonly happening in cemeteries since locked gates most likely doesn't help.

  1. Most cemeteries have a fence around them...this is because people are just dying to get in!!! Sorry, I had to! I think that most people have a respect for the dead, or a fear of them.  If you are in a location that this isn't working , ask you local police to add surveillance of the cemetery to their rounds.  A neighborhood watch type thing of the area would also help.


  2. Almost impossible.  Drive through security patrols help, but the car lights are a dead give away and signal to hide.  Too bad people are no longer terrified of cemeteries.

  4. These Criminals should know that they will also be rested there at some time.

  5. Ever heard of a grounds keeper?(Not Trying To Be Rude) He/ she goes on hourly strolls through the cemetery checking it.
