I live in Arkansas and I recently bought some property from a used car dealer in Texas. I paid on time every month and when I had extra to pay, I paid it. I had it financedfor 5 years but I paid it off in 3 years. The property was over $12,000.00. How can I get this information reported to the credit bureaus as I am trying to purchase a new home this fall and I really need the extra points on my credit report?

  1. Ask this person to report this information to the credit bureau.

  2. It will only report to your credit file if the dealer or whom ever serviced the loan reports. GMAC, Ford Chrysler Nissan and most banks Toyota etc all report

  3. Creditors have to be subscribers to the credit bureau's service in order to report.  However, they are not required to report.
