Question:

How does a follower of quran manage in this hadith'ite world?

Quran'ite follows Allah, hadithi'te follows Bukhari.

Quran'ite follows Allah, hadith'ite follows Jaffari.

Quran'ite follows Allah, hadith'ite follows Tirmirdhi.

(you get the point).

Are there support-nteworks for quranites in this hadith'ite world? Alhamdu'illah I live in a place where hadith'ites have no power to *kill* me as much as they'd like to... when at the same time the recite the quranite statement "there is no compulsion in religion". Astaghfirullah.

  1. Hadeeth is the prophet's words , if u don't follow the prophet u r not following what ALLAH(swt) say

"و اطيعوا الله و اطيعوا الرسول و اولي الامر منكم"

  2. Dear this is an interesting question and frankly speaking even though we are Quranites, and we have survived. But even so, we cannot answer HOW???

I think the ONLY answer we can give is that "God protects us" !!

Despite being out spoken and despite the fact that we openly challenge ANY of the Hadith scholars, we still somehow survive. And we do so HONORABLY.

Unlike the people think that the Quranis movement started from Rashad Khalifa. This is not true. Rashad Khalifa can be regarded as a VERY VERY important milestone or a significant figure, through whom the message got a very strong support. Otherwise the movement is VERY old. In the Indo subcontinent, the first people among the known history were:

In the 1800 to 1900 era:

    1-  Abdullah Chakralwi.

    2-  Sir Syed Ahmed Khan

    3-  Aslam Jairajpuri

In the 1900 to 2000 era:

    4-  Allama Iqbal

    5-  Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz

    6-  Ghulam Jilani Barq

    And many more.

Among the above names 03 names are of paramount importance in the history of India and Pakistan. For example:

Sir Syed Ahmed khan, was honored as "Sir" by the British and was the founder of the FAMOUSE and respected university in India.

Allama Iqbal was the National poet and philosopher of Pakistan.

Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz, was the CHIEF Authority of Religious affairs for 7 years in the early years of Pakistan e.g. 1947 to 1955.

In any case, the simplest answer to your question is that God protects us and creates the means for us. Even we cannot tell how, we live among them.

  3. i'm not a q'or'anite, i'm mo'tazili, it's documented in history that they refused any other book other than q'or'an since the first islamic century, but some later motazilite were weak. when qoran said: take what's given to you by the prophet it meant the war trophies, the sentences before it make it clear. this will show you how these people have no respect for mind or qoran.

when god said to obey the prophet no one can deny it. but the prophet is dead. if some one came to you and told you that your father orders you to kill yourself, you would be extremely stupid to do it. you would prefer to meet your father face to face and make sure of it. when you do it without making sure of it you wouldn't be obeying your father but the man who told you about him. religion is more important than life, for it's your eternal life fate. when you obey these men: abo horayra and bokhari, they will be your leaders in the judgment day, whether they go to h**l or heaven you will follow them. no regrets will be useful then. the way bokhari collected hadith was against qoran, more against hadith itself. there is a strict order in qoran not to spy, bokhari used to ask about his resources ethics, religious, and political affiliations, behind their backs. it's possible that bokhari and his ilk worked as spys to the abbaside kings, to find their enemies. the objection of spying is not my invention, it's known for hundreads of years in ancient books. alfakhr alrazi, not to be mixed with abu bakr alrazi, was a hanafi scholar who wrote an explanation for qoran, with clear motazili affiliations, he despised bokhari in a clear way and he lived about a thousand year ago.

as for how these evil people contradict hadith it self, we have a motawater hadith, which is considered by thses people as strongest kind of hadith, in it there was a clear order not to write what i say. they accuse us of using mind instead of obey the text but here they try to use their minds but they don't find them, and come with stupid justifications that are worse than there original crime. hadith might get mixed with qoran! that's why it wasn't written and now it's safe! god's words to be mixed with human words!! huh! sometimes i suspect that sonnies are athiests! a worse thing they say hadith is revealed from god, and hadith is every thing prophet said and done and didn't object to. so evry thing about mohammad is revealed from god! then what's the difference between mohammad and god! and who do you worship sonni!! mohammad became a divine robot, no but god himself, another jesus!!!! indeed they will go to h**l and god is my witness, sonnies who shut up might have a chance, but these people above me, they will be brought in the judgment day and will be aske about what they wrote.

  4. Well seeing as these hadith are words of Prophet, who are we supposedly following?

Without the Glorious Quran there would be no need for hadith. So what is your point?

  5. they didn't manage to survive, they are an extinct species like dinosaurs...

  6. Whoever follows Koran only is rejecting part of the Koran because Koran ordered to follow the prophet. So would you omit this aya from your Koran or do you skip over it while reading?

  7. without authentic hadith we can not practice any thing

How a person can offer the most important thing salah with out following Hadith

  8. Didn't Quran say to follow Muhammad(pbuh)....

Answer me in YES or NO,

Doesn't this Hadith bears the testimony of my faith and proves that Hadeeths are indeed preserved and you denying the Hadith PROVES that Hadeeths are true!!

Ahmad, Abu Dawood and al-Haakim reported with a saheeh isnaad from al-Miqdaam that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Soon there will be a time when a man will be reclining on his couch, narrating a hadeeth from me, and he will say, 'Between us and you is the Book of Allaah: what it says is halaal, we take as halaal, and what it says is haraam, we take as haraam.' But listen! Whatever the Messenger of Allaah forbids is like what Allaah forbids."

  9. 1st point = Obediance of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)

        * Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger’s duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner. (5: 92).

        * O ye who believe! obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best, and most suitable for final determination. (4: 59).

        * Say: “Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance.(24: 54).

        * And whoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, Allâh shall admit him in the Gardens underneath which rivers flow. (4:13)

        * And whoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has won a great success. (33:71)

        * And we sent no messenger, but that he should be obeyed by the leave of Allâh. (4:64)

These are only a some of the verse ordering to obey the Messenger of Allah :s: They are many. Now, you might say: “that is not evidance for following his sunnah, obeying the prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) means obeying what is in Quran that he came with from Allah” That is incorrect, becasue the Quran is Allah’s words not the Prophets (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) words, so obeying the what is in the Quran is obeying Allah ‘azza wa jal. It can’t mean obeying the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) because it is not his words, so it is not his commands. Here is a scenerio to make it more clear: Ms A. told Ms B. : ” Your mother says: clean your room or no watching TV for a whole month”. Ms. B goes and cleans her room. Now Ms. B cleaning her room was obediance to who? her mother or Ms A.? of course she would be obeying her mother, because her mother is the one who ordered her to clean her room, Ms. B is just a conveyer of the mother’s words\her orders. But, when the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) himself (with his words) orders the believers to do something or forbids them from something, then doing what he says would be called obediance to him, because the words are his. There are even more clear evidances for that, which I will put in next post insha Allah. also, u notice in some verses, the word “obey” is repeated, first “obey Allah” then “obey” again before mentioning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which is to stress that we must obey the Messenger himself, in what he tells us.

    Point 2

       1. Sunnah is revelation from AllahThe Prophets commands by his words are revelation itself, and they are the commands of Allah by meaning sent down to the Messenger to be delivered to the believers by the Messenger’s words. So the Quran is revelation by meaning and wordand the Sunnah is revelation by meaning only. Evidance of that is:And whoever obeys the Messenger, thereby obeys Allâh. (4:80) It is obediance to Allah because:

       1. Allah has commanded us in Quran to obey the Messenger, so obeying him would be obeying Allah’s command

       2. The Prophet’s (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) teachings are not from himself, but from Allah, He is the one who tought him to teach the believers, so obeying the Prophet’s teachings would be obeying Allah.

    Also, some points regarding this

       1. The Messenger of Allah would not make up his own commands, and he wouldn’t know what Allah wants us to do unless Allah tought him what He wants, and to say that the Messenger of Allah made up things from himself without the command of Allah, would be saying that the Messenger of Allah betrayed the Message and that Allah choose an untrustworthy man to deliver His message, and that would be an attack on Allah and His Messenger sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

       2. The Messenger is sent to deliver the book and explaing it to the people, and Allah states clearly that he sent Prophet Muhammad sallallau alayhi wa sallam to explain to people what Allah has sent to themAnd We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Qur’ân), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought. (16:44)

  10. What you stated is Manifest Kufr in the Book of Allaah.

The unanimous agreement of the people of Islaam is that those who reject the Sunnah are Kuffaar, outside the fold of Islaam.

From the book: "إلى فهم السلفية" (Towards understanding Salafiyyah)

A group of heretical minded people arose in recent times in order to cut the people away from the way of the Prophet This group is known as the “Quraaniyoon” or “Quraanites” and they claim to follow the Qur’aan and they abandon the Sunnah with the claim that it was a “heretical addition” to Islaam. However they are nothing but a group of people who follow their desires as Allaah orders the Muslims to follow the Sunnah but these people cover those verses up with doubts and their interpretations.

One can refer to the many books written on the topic, the most comprehensive being the book of Shaykh Muhammad Naasir-ud-deen al-Albaanee (رحمه الله) which has been translated to: “The authority of the Sunnah”.

The proof that the Sunnah is from the legislation is the statement of Allaah:

    مَّنْ يُطِعِ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدْ أَطَاعَ اللّهَ وَمَن تَوَلَّى فَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَفِيظًا

((He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allaah; but if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds).)) (Surah an-Nisaa: 80)

Ibn Katheer said in the Tafseer of this Ayah:

يخبر تعالى عن عبده ورسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم بأن من أطاعه فقد أطاع الله ومن عصاه فقد عصى الله وما ذاك إلا لأنه ما ينطق عن الهوى إن هو إلا وحي يوحى

((Allaah states that whoever obeys His servant and Messenger, Muhammad , obeys Allaah; and whoever disobeys him, disobeys Allaah. Verily, whatever the Messenger utters is not of his own desire, but a revelation inspired to him.))

    And from the Sunnah:

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that there will be a group of people, who will say,

((What is found in the Book of Allaah as Haraam we pronounce it Haraam, Surely I am given the Quraan and something like it.)) (Imaam al-Albaanee recorded this from at-Tirmidhee in "Manzilat asSunnah fil Islaam", 17)

Amongst many ahaadeeth that prove this, this hadeeth clearly states that the Qur'aan and Sunnah are equal in their legislation. So the one who denies this and says: "The Qur'aan comes before the Sunnah" is one who has erred in his statement and placed a lie upon the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and has rejected this Hadeeth.

    Allaah says:

((And whatever the Messenger gives you, then take it and whatever he forbids you from then Abstain (from it)) (Surah al-Hashr: 7)

O Noble Reader, May Allaah have protect you, we must be careful in our statements concerning the Sunnah of our beloved Messenger Allaah out of His Mercy has sent to mankind Messengers and revealed to them books so that mankind may be guided to that which He (Allaah) loves and is pleased with. It is in mankind's, and in particular the Muslims, best interest to concern themselves with that which Allaah has revealed, following its guidance and adorning their lives with its teachings. The Qur'aan and Sunnah have been revealed to us from our Lord, the Most High, as the Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) has informed us in his statement,

((Surely I am given the Quraan and something like it.)) (Collected by at-Tirmidhee)

O Noble Reader, may Allaah bless us and you to be from those who follow that which has been revealed and implement His, The Most High's, command in His statement:

    اتَّبِعُوا مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

(((Say to them O Muhammad) Follow what has been sent down unto

you from your Lord (the Qur'aan and the Sunnah), and follow not any Awliyaa (protectors and helpers, etc. who order you to associate partners in worship with Allaah), besides Him (Allaah). Little do you remember!)) (Surah Al-A'raaf: 3)

So now that we've established that the Qur'aan and Sunnah are the legislations in Islaam, let's look at our methodology concerning them:

    Allaah says:

(((Say to them O Muhammad) Follow what has been sent down unto

you from your Lord (the Qur'aan and the Sunnah), and follow not any Awliyaa (protectors and helpers, etc. who order you to associate partners in worship with Allaah), besides Him (Allaah). Little do you remember!)) (Surah Al-A'raaf: 3)

    And Allaah says:

((When they are summoned to Allaah and His Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, behold, some of them decline (to come).)) (Surah an-Noor: 48)

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,

((There will be a man to whom my hadeeth will reach him, while he is sitting comfortably, and he will say between me and you is the book of Allaah, whatever we find in it that is halaal we will make it halaal, and whatever we find in it haraam we will make it haraam. Then the Prophet says: whatever the messenger of Allaah has made haraam is as if Allaah has made it haraam.)) (Sunan at-Tirmidhee 5/38)

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also said,

((All of my Ummah will enter heaven except those who refuse (or reject), so they asked him: oh messenger of Allaah, who is the one who refuses? The Prophet said: whoever obeys me will enter heaven and whoever obeys me he has refused.)) (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, 7280)

The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) also said,

((Do not ask me about what I didn't mention, because what has caused the destruction of the previous nations was their questioning and disagreement with their Prophets. If I forbid you from doing something, avoid it, and if I order you to do something do as much of it as you possibly can.)) (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree, 7288)

    Allaah says:

((And whatever the Messenger gives you, then take it and whatever he forbids you from then Abstain (from it)) (Surah al-Hashr: 7)

Thus dear reader, as illustrated in these aforementioned verses and ahaadeeth, it is obligatory upon us to follow that which Allaah has revealed to us from the Qur’aan and Sunnah. This is a reality that no Muslim can deny. Allaah sent his Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) to us in order that he may explain to us that whichwas revealed to him. Allaah says,

((And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad) the reminder

and the advice (the Qur'aan), that you may explain clearly to men what is

sent down to them.)) (Soorah An Nahl: 44)

    And:

((He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'aan, Islaamic laws and Islaamic jurisprudence) and Al Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad). And verily, they had been before in manifest error.)) (Surah al- Jumu’ah: 2)

Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmee (may Allah preserve him) said in his explanation of

    Sharhus Sunnah,

((Thus the Book is the Qur’aan, and the Wisdom (Al Hikmah) is the Sunnah of the Messenger
