Question:

How does a group interview at Chapters work?

Next week, I have an interview at Chapters (the book store). I have been notified that the interview is a group interview (which means more than one potential employee is being interviewed at a time). I was just wondering, if anybody has any advice on preparation for an interview like this. Has any one been interviewed there before, or heard anything about their interviews?

If so, do you have any tips..pointers...etc?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. There will probably be 2 or 3 people interviewing you.

Just read a lot of interview questions and prepare answers for them.  Think about how to answer questions such as, how would you handle an angry customer, etc

    Good luck to you!!!!!

  2. Be honest in your answers.

Don't interrupt one of the other interviewees.

    Be positive.

Display your knowledge of best sellers, and your love of reading.

Be prepared to affirm how you will be good for the job, and how the job will be good for you.

Dress conservatively, most employers don't like piercings, unless, of course, you are applying for a job in a s*x shop.
