  1. Excrete what? Urine?

If so, then his kidneys "filter" his blood, extracting urea and other metabolic waste products, excess water and salts, etc. and transferring them into the bladder, where they form "urine".

The bladder therefore fills (the "storage phase"), and requires emptied periodically (the "voiding phase"). Control over this process is learned in early childhood. There are two sphincter muscles at the mouth of the bladder which must both be opened. When they are opened, the urine flows out the bladder, down the urethra, and out the urethral opening at the end of the p***s ("urination" or "micturation").

Because the p***s is flexible and extends out from the body, the direction of urine-flow can be controlled. This makes it easier for men to urinate while standing than women.
