They got these guys called coyotes who pick them up at the border, I'm sure they work some kind of bargain out. They may have to work for the man by selling drugs or something illegal but only until they can pay the coyote.

Either use your thumb or your feet. I wouldn't suggest crawling although it is an option. You could try to meditate but I'm not sure if that is the mode of transportation you are referring to.

If you were to apply - your application would be denied on the grounds that you have no job in the old country, so chances are you will have no job in the new country either. You will probably apply for benefits. And since you have not paid into the benefit system, you dont get nothing.
