  1. Could be horse or jokey weight (too low) to block the path of other, drugs and premature start.

  2. This is decided by the stewards who are track judges who watch each and every race.If they feel a horse has interfered with another horse horse during a race in such a way that the outcome of race may have been effected.The stewards post an enquiry where they study films of the race.then they make a decision on final results.jockey can also file an enquiry if they think another horse cause interference to there horse.once again the stewards look at the films and make the final decision as to interference charge and its effect on race.interference can be done in any many ways.When one horse impedes another by interfering it may lead to a disqualification.

  3. If the horse carries the improper weight (including if the horse drops the jockey and continues running), drugs, unpermitted aids (no shocking devices to make the horse run faster).  A horse can get moved down in the placings, but usually not disqualified completely, for interfering with other horses in the race... like if a jockey moves his horse or allows his horse to move itself into another horse... you can't let your horse bear in or out and run into others.  if you're passing another horse, you have to make sure you're completely past the horse before you can move into their lane.  You could get DQed for really reckless riding... bumping another horse usually moves you back a spot or two, but if it was really dangerous, the horse could be DQed completely... and the rider suspended.  A horse could be declared a nonstarter if it's not given a fair opportunity to break from the gate with the field... but that really rarely happens...  and you wouldn't win and then have that happen...  you would only be declared a nonstarter if it was detrimental to your race... if you still manage to finish first, there's nothing to complain about.

  4. There are many reason's why this could happen, but the most common are:

    The horse is found to have an illegal substance in his bloodstream;

    the horse does not carry the right weight;

    the horse causes interference to other horses that impeeds their chance of running well;
