Question:

How does a lazy man get in shape?

im 20 yrs old and have about 20 extra pounds i would like to tone up... but heres the key im poor... and i rly dont wanna exercise... is there some crazy thing i can do like dont drink soda or no eggs or some goofy thing like that that will help me?

  1. drink lots of water and eat several smaller meals a day rather than one or two larger meals which tell your body to store the energy in the form of fat.

    Try to hold off on snacky things and greasy foods and sugary sweets.


  2. Eat healthy, running or walking dosent require money. You could also do situps, crunches, different kinds of pushups and chin ups if you can find a place. Try changing your diet up, and exercise would help alot. Just try to find some motivation, like a target weight or how you want to look.  

  3. You would have to do some extreme diet and by the way you describe  yourself you wouldn't want to do that either. Simply you have to do both. Cant drink soda and eat sweets. Start a food journal and loo up 2500 calorie day diets on the internet. Walk around your block. Run iin the park. Simple exercise. But that will take time. You want to lose weight you have to do cardio. Get your bpm up and the weight will go down. 10 minutes to warm up 30 to 45 minutes with your bpm at the target zone for your weight and age, then 10 mnutes to cool down.  That is the most effective way. The laziness I don't know how to cure.

  4. Get your lazy *** out from in front of the Xbox and go run a mile.

  5. Drink a very extreme energy drink, and run. Just keep running, you won't be able to stop.

  6. Sure. YOu dont have to exercise to lose fat. You just have to eat healthy... try fresh fruit and vegetbales... lean cuts of meat... chicken, turkey, beef... fish... grilled... in a george forman grill or sommat. No soda... no alcohol.. no packaged foods... no sweets... not french fries... the list of "no" is enormous. Put it this way.. if it comes in a packet.. then don't eat any of it.

    The "exercise" really is to help speed up the process.. but it is not essential. You can lose weight sitting on the couch if you eat properly.

  8. If you are trying to tone up I would suggest going to your local health club and working out. They usually have a free trial period sometimes

  9. diet will help.  if you eat healthy, then it will help.  but in order to get rid of an extra 20 pounds in a reasonable amount of time, you need to exercise.

    (yes, cut the "cola" didn't your mom ever tell you that stuff was unhealthy)

  10. Eventually you will want to do some form of exercise. But if not, try eliminating like 300-500 calories a day out of your diet.

    Drink tons of water. No soda's, no juice, no empty calories!

    Eat tons of low fat, lean protein and count your calories. Try eating around 1400-1500 calories a day and eat smaller, more frequent meals.

    This is about the best I can think of.
