I have a member on a group that has written unmoderated above her name. What does this mean exactly & how can I change it? I want to be able to put the whole group on moderation if I need to do so.

  1. maybe a moderator did it- go look under management- under group activity click moderator activity and i the search log bar enter "Post status changed"- all members whose status was changed will list and show by who. that unmoderated above their name is their posting status- and common.

How do I change membership settings for a member?

  2. If you have other moderators, one of them might  have changed the posting status for that member. Or when the member joined group, his/her posting status was set as unmoderated.  The member cannot change his/her status. You can fix this very easily.

    Sign in to your group.

Click Members and locate that member on the membership list.

Under the member's name, click on "Edit Membership"

Underneath Membership Privileges and to the right of Posting Messages, click on "Edit".

Toward the bottom of page, select "Messages posted by this member are moderated".

    Click Save Changes.
