  1. First you become a police officer.  Then work a beat for a few years.  Work hard, go the extra mile, investigate your cases to a successful conclusion.  Then, when an opening comes up, apply.  Your work history, your supervisors reviews, and your internal affairs files will all be considered when they make their choice.

  2. get cheated on

  3. You first have to be a police officer

  4. You need to be a police girl first but the other guy if right if you get cheated on you would become one in one day.

  5. Depends on the jurisdiction. In Los Angeles, you need at least 4 years of patrol experience.  Then you're eligible to take the Detective's test.  Once you pass the test, you're scheduled for an oral interview.  The test and interview are weighed and you're given a score.  Your score is bunched up with others that are similar (placed in a band) and when positions are available, within 2 years, you're selected.  After 2 years, the list expires and if you're not selected, you get to do the whole process again.
