  1. Start with local tournaments then just keep moving up.

  2. I did a little research on this a few years back.  First you need to start at a local level and win some small tournaments.  Meanwhile you need to do some pro-am tournaments to help get yourself acquainted to the pro circuit.  After you get your name out there you can get some sponsors. You almost have to have sponsors to help offset the cost of being a pro-bass fisherman. If your just a very rich person you only have to worry about making the cut.  If you miss the cut they have wild card tournaments ... kind of a last chance to get in on the circuit.

Basically you need to have a lot of money and then be very religious because you have to pray A LOT!   If you have the money all you need to worry about is getting through the preliminary tournament.  Oh... you need to be sanctioned to, but that's easy.

  3. Devote your life, spend most of your waking hours on the water, know everything you can possibly know on what lures work when, and know where you can get enough sponsors for equipment, boats, etc.

  4. WHAT you need is to  be a good bass fisherman and have lots of $pon$or$.....that is all there is too it...HOW to do it, idk!!!
