How does a person determine how many stamps should go on a package?

I want to send a (fairly) small paperback book in the mail. Do I need to take into the post office?

  1. yes, get it weighed so you know proper postage amount


  2. yes, unless you have a mail weigher at home

    it's prob going to cost around $3-$4

  3. Yes it has to be weighed.  Compare with fedex.

  4. You can go on USPS.com and click on Calculate Postage tab.  You can also print out a postage via online using the "print a shipping Label" tab.  Since it's just a small paperback, choose the Media Mail option!  It's the cheapest!
