How does a person die when he sticks his head in an oven?

Question

This may sound like a very uneducated question, but I would really like to know what about the situation actually kills the person. The heat? The gas? I wonder...

well its kinda like being out in the sun, but only 100x hotter. Your brain is overheated and your brain cells would literally dry out. Since the brain is the power house of your body, once the brain shuts down, it stops all the electrical activity to your body.

asphyxiation, from lack of oxygen I would guess.

they inhale the gas, it doesnt work in a modern oven however.  and it is very dangerous to do if you are thinking about it because the gas will build up in the house after you die and can cause large explosions even enough to hurt next door neighbors

on old style ovens, you could turn the gas on without lighting it, you died from gas poisoning, or the house exploding when the gas reached the pilot on top of the stove....

modern gas ovens will not release gas unless lit....

You inhale the gas from the oven which poisons and suffocates you.  It doesn't work with an electrical over and it does not have anything to do with the heat.  It's the same basic principle  as running the car in the garage.

y would u need to know this u planning on doing this? if this is some new fad pple r doing ID LIKE TO WARN THE WORLD STICKING UR HEAD IN THE OVEN RESULTS IND EATH ! IF THE HEAVY OVEN DOOR DOESNT BREAK UR NECK THEN (IF U TURN IT ON) UALL ROAST!
