I would assume a person would need to at least study the matter before finding their entry into the field.

  1. Start by regularly drinking yourself into a coma. snort Columbia, have Daddy buy you a baseball team and become governor of the State that executes more people than you can count.  Mess up the election machines in a third world state full of old people from NY and boy howdy, you broke into politics!

  2. Unfortunately it takes money to get into politics. It is also a sad fact that most politicians are wealthy attorneys.

I've seen candidates spend over 200 thousand dollars on Small local elections.

  3. You start by volunteering for campaigns, then network with the people in the campaign and local party organization. You might then get an internship in Washington; but mostly it's through networking. Obviously you have to study the subject too.

  4. You need money and a voice like a evangelist preacher. Also watch the movie "The Distinguished Gentleman" to get tips.

  5. You get selected, not elected, by the Democrat Party.

  6. Ask Obama.

  7. You run locally first, usually town selectman or councilman.

Then you schmooze mightily and do a lot of favors for others, and you try for a county office, then you kiss some more behinds and try for a state office.

In many cases its who you know, and who owes you.

  8. Best to get a good education, start small in your local area, do a great job, volunteer for a lot of junk, make a lot of friends, try to meet the right people & know what you stand for before you run for office!  Don't pander to the voters, they see thorough that quickly, be your own person, don't be a sell out!  Go in to politics for the right reasons, not just to be self serving.

  9. Elected positions like city council,or school board.

or local volunteer positions  like soil and water boards, etc

There you can learn all of the funding and terminology..

It would also be to your advantage to ask a house member if you could shadow/volunteer for his campaign..

You could also apply to be a legislative assistant to a house member.

  10. If you are talking about Obama, soros is behind him, also possibly the bilderberg group.
