  1. take a new picture.


  2. scandisk and lexar have programs to attempt to recover photos from flash cards that are corrupted might try to move file to a flash and use makers software to fix it this has no risk as the file on the hard drive is not manipulated .

    i have never used this looks likely to help, save the file to removable disk and work on it not the original file

    good luck must be important photo , should be backed up on cd in case of hard drive crash

    i back up my fav photos by emailing them to my self ( go yahoo )

    so i never lose them and can access them from any networking computer

    lastly how it gets corrupted?even microsoft cant answer that but useing file properties can archive the fie that might ¿keep it from happening
