How does a pregnancy cost in New York?

I am French and my wife is Chinese. We would like to wave an insurance but don't know which one is worth waving? Could somebody help me?

you can get nedicaid...it doesnt matter  your immigration status

I think it is worth having the insurance. You wont know what to expect during a pregnancy, and bills will ad up!  Anything can happen, and healthcare is extrememly expensive.
