I'm exercising 3-5 times weekly (aerobics and stretches) and want to build a little muscle while burning fat.

  1. well areobics and streches won't help u build muscle no matter how much protien you drink, you need to do some light weight lifting, not anything guys normally do, (like bench pressing) just do alot of things with free weights and light machine, talk to a trainer.  when u do the lifting exercises, tiny micro-tears occur in ur muscles, and it's protien that helps these tears fill back in, therefore making it stronger.

  2. Protein powder is protein drink minus the liquid.  You need them to rebuild muscle if you're doing a lot of exercise.  I don't know what your needs are - it depends on your diet and the type of exercise you're doing.  You could get some and give it a try though - it will help build muscle if you're doing the right sorts of exercise.

  3. theyre basically the same thing. you just make your own protein drink with the powder. all ready made protein drinks are just easier.

  4. The Protein Drink has a higher nutrient density; however is very expensive;

    The Protein Powder is almost as good; and is much cheaper;

    if you can afford the drinks; I would; if not do the Protein Powder in milk; whey;water or juice;

    Do whey not soy if possible; some soy ok; Anne
