  1. the egg of a female chicken is fertilised by sperm as is the case with humans

the egg is not hard before it is laid, unlike humans who have a regular menstrual cycle, chickens will lay eggs regardless if they are fertlised or not the hardening process takes place inside the chicken before laying is done the shell of an egg is just a protein called keratin the same protein that makes our nails and hair it is just formed around the egg to protect the potential offspring

many eggs that are sold from a farm not free range or caged chicken are potentially fertilised it is just that the egg is taken away from the mother so it isnt kept warm so if it were fertilised the young wouldn't develop because it would lack the necessary heat. To prevent selling of eggs that are fertilised they are candled a process where light is shone through it to see the yolk a trained eye can see if there is young in the egg, the egg is either kept to develop the young (if possible) or discarded

most eggs on sale in the supermarkets etc.. are not fertilised because no rooster is kept with the hens so no mating takes place, so no fertilisation

  2. The egg only gets its hard shell when it's ready to be laid. It is fertilised inside the hen when the male mates with her. Once fertilised, a hard shell is formed so the egg can be laid and safely incubated outside the body.

    Chalice

  3. He fertilizes the female before she lays the egg.

  4. he does it when its in the chicken doh.

a bit like humans..... its called sh*gging

eggs we buy from the supermarket are from chickens that havent been in contact with a rooster. therefore they ARENT fertilised.

  5. Rooters have s*x with the chicken. They ejaculate their s***n into the coloaca of the chicken. The chicken will grape the s***n and store it in her seminal pouch, kept warm and with viable sperm. That is what the rooster do.

With regard to fertilization, the ovum will be secreted from the chicken ovaries, released into the beginning of the oviduct, the chicken will release some s***n from her seminal pouch, sperms travel up and fertilize the ovum before being rapped in the white matter (albumen). The ovum is situated in the center of the egg yellow. The egg role down the oviduct being raped with egg white and calcium and come out as a hard fertilized egg.

Chickens can lay unfertilized eggs if there are no roosters around. Most of the commercial eggs (table egg) are unfertilized.

  6. he doesnt  do anything to the egg, he does the female and then that fertilises the egg.
