How does a shy girl get a boyfriend?

I'm very shy. I don't go to clubs or bars because I wouldn't know what to do at them. Are they a good place to meet someone or are most of the guys there just looking to pick someone up for the night? How are you expected to act at these places?

Or where are some better places to meet someone? God, why am I so darn shy!? Thanks!!

You are shy because that's you, and perhaps a young age and lack of experience.

Bars are not a good place period.  And the majority of guys are there looking for quick and cheap s*x.

Clubs, churches, social organizations are good places to meet guy and get to know them.

When meet one you find interesting, find a way to let him know.  If he's sharp he will catch on fairly easily.  Like talk to him.  Be yourself (always the best bet).  And tell him a few things about yourself--a gesture of potential friendship, and see where it goes.

i dont want to be rude, but, the only way guys are going give you attention if youre not confident is if you put out.

i know its not what you want to hear, so either be a bit more confident, see a shrink, to help you with your shyness, or be a bit sluuttty
