  1. put a addin the news paper

  2. Step 1:  copyright the material, google this, its to long to explain.  Lyrics and composition both need a copyright so music must be written out.  This is about 30 bucks per song or compilation of songs.

Step 2:  Contact publishing companies familiar with your genre of music.  These are the people who will do the work for you.  They shop songs to artists and labels.  The publisher will take a commission for selling the song.

Step 3:  Hope your songs are good enough to sell and if so collect your money..

  3. He could send his songs to internet radio stations and student radio stations that play un-signed music. If he gets airplay and people like it, then he should follow it up with live performances - he will have to travel. Most musicians who are keen on success end up moving to where the market is, the big cities.

He could also record his own music and sell CDs at his performances and at local record stores - a lot of stores will be glad to stock local talent... its affordable with modern digital technology to record decent quality music at home, with the right equipment.

  4. well write the song then mail it to the people they know then tell them to send it to to people they know and it could be discovered
