How does a surogate mum work?

just wondering what is a surogate mum is i heard it was a person who carried someone elses baby who cant....? where do you go about it?

Yes, a woman carries a baby, normally for a couple who cant.  In the UK you can't legally be paid for this service, the couple just cover the expenses the surrogate incurrs throughout her pregnancy.

It can be different in the USA regarding payment.

There are agencies that provide this service, just google it.

The surrogate gets injected with your husbands sperm (or if you are single, someplace else)

She carries the baby, you pay for all her medical and sometimes other expenses throughout the pregnancy, go to appts. with her.

The problem with this is that the surrogate has the right to back out at any time and decide she wants to keep the baby.
