  1. win the division (east, west, or central) in your league (american league or national league)

    OR

Win the wild card - Be the best second place team (in your league)

    HOPE I HELPED!

  2. they go to the playoffs if they have the most wins in their division which is seperated into two leagues: the american league and the  national league

inside each league there are three divisions seperated by location: west, central and, east

in each of these 6 divisions one team which has the most wins goes to the playoffs

but there is something called the wild card which is awarded to the second place team with the most wins, in each league.

  3. there are divisions east west central you win your division or win the wild card which is all of them combined and there are two league which you can do this from national or american

  4. they either win their division or they have the most wins in the nl or al

  5. There are 3 divisions in the American League and another 3 in the National League.  The winner of each of those divisions earns a playoff spot.  that's 6 spots, 3 from each league.  Then the wild card is determined by next best record.  So not including the top 3 teams in the NL, the best record is the wild card and the same goes for the AL.  The wild card can come from any division in their league.  This gives you 4 teams from the NL and 4 teams from the AL with the one team from each league meeting for the World Series.

  6. win the Divison or win the wild card
