  1. it depends how many people you have on your team. in my league there were three singles players and then i think if i remember correctly two doubles matches that count. so a total of 7 people play for points. then if the other team has enough people and they choose to, we played exhibition matches just to get people to play.

  2. Been quite awhile since I played tennis in high school, but ours worked like this:

-we practiced 4 days per week

-2 days before every match, we had challenge matches where the #1 seed played the #2 seed with the winner playing at the #1 seed at the match and the loser playing @ #2 and so on and so forth down the line

-in our conference, matches were with #1 thru #6 seeds playing singles matches with all 6 of those matches being best 2 out of 3 sets and 3 doubles matches, which were all pro sets ( 1st team to 8 games, but you had to win by 2...no tie breaks)

And just like the answer-er above me, if the other team brought any extra players, there would be some exhibition matches so everybody outside out of the top 6 could play

    Sorry for the long answer...

    Good luck!

  3. My high school had a team of about 20 people... the best 12 played varsity

    The best 4 were singles

    The other 8 played doubles
