  1. -Keep babysitting and charge a little more. Make cool fliers that people will like.

    -Mow lawns for $10.

    -Wash cars for $8

-Walk dogs for $5 a dog.

    -Clean houses for $20.

    - Watch cats, birds and other animals for $5 a animal.

    I hope this helped.

    -Tara

  2. When I started babysitting, I asked my mom and my dad to tell their clients at work that I was availible, then their clients told their families and friends. My mom also told a few of her friends who told the parents in their neighborhoods.

I don't reccomend hanging up fliers. You don't want a random guy calling at 9p saying ' heyy.... uh you wanna babysit for me? ' - know them somewhat and how they found out you were availble.

There is really nothing else I can think of. Make sure that parents with a bucnh of kids know your availible. Parents these days are bringing their kids to daycare all the time because babysitters are hard to find. Daycare is alot more expensive.

  3. mow lawns, wash cars, allowance, garage sale, pet sit, house sit, dog walk, etc. Just be creative! Good Luck!

  4. Well, to be honest, i could sell food or anything, because your at the age where people are afriad to trust teens lol .

    So babysitting is good.

And aren't you old enough to get a job?

like at mcdonalds, or shoppers drug mart .?

    lol

    mowing lawns is good

    or shovelling snow

    or doing the newspaper

  5. Mother's Helper.  It's similar to babysitting, but your with the mom.  You tend to go to the grocery store with the mom and watch the kids.  Go to the beach, build stand castles with them, or watch them in the yard while the mom does laundry.

Not too many parents are going to leave their children ALONE in the care of a 13 year old.  I mean, I'm 24 and I watched kids when I was 13/14.  But, I think parents now are really paranoid.  The world has changed in the last decade.

But, I think lots of mom like the mother's helper idea and they'd be whiling to hire you.
