Ok, so I got this nifty new watch that tells me when high tide and low tide are, and where I am at in accordance to the tide.

Yes, I'm a NOOB when it comes to surfing. How does this watch help me?

  1. it pretty much tells you when the wave are going to get destroyed.

  2. Around here (Charleston, SC), the best time to go surfing is when the tide is about half way on its way in from Low to High.  However, that is just a general guideline.  If there is no swell, then it really doesn't matter one way or the other.  Find out the best tide condition for your break and that watch will come in handy when you know waves are up.
