How does a transit monthly pass work?

Question

OK, well im going to summer school, and I need to take the buss everyday. I want to get a monthly pass but dont know quite how it works. Do i need to get a July pass for july? stuff like that.

It would be great if you could input as much info as possible.

PS My school is in Mississauga.

it depends on the transit agency

some transit agencies have a summer pass program

which allows 3 months of travel

others dont

so yes you would be have to buy a July pass for July'

and lots of time those passes for the next month go on

sale usually around the 25th of the previous month

(like in Los Angeles You can buy a July pass starting

on June 25th )
