How does a website come up higher in a search besides paying the search engines?

    the all must have similar contents. Meaning, the more the word frequency the better it ranks.


  2. More people visiting the website, and more websites linking to it.

  3. The list goes on and on. There are agencies that specialize in this and this alone. You must have relevant content on your pages, good meta tags, descriptions relevant to what people are searching. Good page to page linking with consitent link names. If you rename the same link over and over through your site that points to the same page it can confuse the search engines.
