Men could do it too, but they are very clever and have all worked out it is better to pretend they can't and give us a little praise now and again for being "so wonderful", this way you get every thing done for them without having to lift a finger, at least you notice, my other half just thinks it is his given right to come home and sit in front of the TV  all night while the cooking fairy and the cleaning fairy get on with it. and then asks why your so tired.
