How does a wrestler make a name for himself?

Question

Yes, I know... I'm not very well liked around these parts, but I apologize for the other question I posted here. I actually know why people watch this stuff now, and even though I still don't care much for it, I'm curious about this.

If the matches are fixed, the outcome is settled before either fighter even steps foot inside the ring, then how does one wrestler distinguish himself over any other? What made The Rock so great? What makes guys like Finlay, and MVP and whoever (sorry, don't know too many wrestlers) any better than the rest?

Just somebody who wants to learn more about wrestling...

CROWD REACTIONS TO GIMMICKS

the wwe writers decide to push some one

if they are a heel (bad guy) they will want a person to get booed alot

if they want aface (good guy) they will expect loud pops

the rock became very over with thye fans with is electirfing promos, his finishing moves, and just his gimmick

guys like nunzio ( jobber) are not as great as the rock because he wasent ever really pushed by the writing staff or if he was he never got a good reaction so he became a jobber(someone who loses to make other wrestlers look good, they hardley ever win at all)

You have to distinguish a look and have charisma that set's you apart from the rest. mvp has a gimmick based on sort of his past life, finlay is irish so he decided to do a irish gimmick. The rock was a entertainer and great wrestler. You can have a great gimmick but if you go into the ring and suck then you can kiss your wrestlig career goodbye. Plus wwe writers decided alopt of storylines and gimmicks for wrestlers, that's why new wrestlers coming in aren't as popular because there gimmick isn't winning the crowd over it's not believable. all you have to do is make a statement and set yourself from the rest you don't want to do somehting that every wrestler in the world will do.

You must have one of the following:

1. Charisma, great mic skills

2. Physically unique.  Whether good physical appearance, phyical body build, height, etc.

3. Have a memorable finisher.  

4. Work extrememly well in the ring.  

5. Have a good gimmick.

try out for OVW or the Florida connection for the WWE, if that doesn't work, then try out for TNA.

Work in front of a camera, and a crowd at home to work on improvisation and mic skills.

Get yourself a good trainer who will show you all he thinks you need to know in order to be a good wrestler.

the way the crowd reacts, each move isn't planned out, just the outcome is, so they prove themselves by using good moves, and the rock was electrifying
