  1. nonne, it only accounts for 2 % of carbon dioxide emmissions.

  2. Noise and pollution is problem that is been faced by modern airline operators. Majority of these problems have been suppressed to acceptable level. The industry has reacted to this by continually improving noise reduction techniques on every new generation of engines. The CF6 engine designed was influenced by the need of noise suppression measures. Newer aircraft have inlets and tailpipes lined with noise attenuating materials to keep sound emission within the established effective perceived noise decibel limits. The noise absorbing material converts acoustic energy into heat energy. For old aircrafts a noise suppressor unit called the ejector was designed. It induced cold air into a mixing space with the hot exhaust, and then ejects the mixture in the air. Jet aircraft generate a considerable amount of noise, contributing to noise pollution near airports. In modern high-bypass turbofan engines, the fan mounted afore the jet engine core is very large. The bigger the fan in comparison to the jet core, the more effective the bypass air is in enveloping the jet exhaust at the rear of the engine, reducing noise. The larger turbines needed to spin the large fan slow the jet exhaust, which also reduces noise. A hush kit produces a similar effect, using several modifications to the existing engine.

A new combustor design is coming into use in small engines called the pre-combustor chamber. It is an annular combustor in which a portion of the primary air comes first into the pre-combustor chamber where it mixes with fuel and ignites; the gas then goes into the main chamber where it meets a second fuel nozzle and the remainder of primary airflow. Manufacturer’s claims for this more complex combustor are that it promotes ease of cold weather starting, low emission and high resistance to flame out. The pre-chamber is carefully designed to ensure adequate mixing of the atomized fuel with the compression-heated air. This has the effect of slowing the rate of combustion, which tends to reduce audible noise.

  3. Aircraft has had a major effect, way too many to name here, so I will just include a couple of examples.

It has made our world smaller.  We are now able to go any place in the world in very little time.  It has made it possible to help more people in remote areas with aid.  As well as more easily spy on and kill enemy's.

It has allowed freight to be brought anywhere quickly, you can now enjoy live fresh Maine lobster just about anywhere if you are willing to pay for it.

It lets people live far apart and still get to see each other regularly.   It has added to the clouds in the sky and helps with global dimming. (Look it up if you have never heard of it)

It has giving many people jobs and a purpose in life.

Just to name a few things aircrafts have done.
