  1. Everything in moderation.  You can have your mature moments and your immature moments!  I'm 21 and still find plenty of time to work *and* play!  Don't worry so much about growing up.  You don't ever have to do that.

  2. You sound like your a great person and everyone you love will still love you no matter how much u go out with friends

  3. youre 17. you have the best of both worlds. you can still act like a kid but you get to act like an adult too.

and you can show your mom you can help in many things by actually doing so. if theres laundry to be done, do it before she does. dishes need to be done? do them before she does. etc. thats what i did.

and yes every girl, at least that i know, goes through this.

  4. There is no problem here. You can help your mom, be responsible, and also play with your little cousins. None of that is wrong or even strange. It's all good.

  5. I'm 17 as well. When I was 15 I suddenly had to move overseas with my sister and live without my parents. At first I felt SO lost without my family but I got stronger and learnt to rely on my friends. After getting my first job, getting my drivers license and getting into university I feel so much more independent like an adult. But at the same time I miss being a child and just having carefree fun and not having to worry about the future. I think this really is a perfect age, between 16 and 25 those are the best 10 years of your life because you can be independent and do what you want but at the same time you're still young and vibrant and having a great life. So make the most of it while you can :)

  6. I think that you are a great person.

Think positive about who you are and about life and get to do nice things with people you like to be with, for to feel good and to be happy in life.

its good that you talk about your problem with your mother and other smart person who is to your side, to let your mother to undarstand your age and that you need to have your time and life.

    All the best!!

  7. I would feel the same way. You are still between yearning to be like a child but have the responsibility and independence as a young woman. There is no shame in being a little immature every now and then. I babysit and i still play with play dough and hide and seek with them. Being 17 is a stressful age your finishing school, body changes( for some), and being like a child or playing things like a child is actually a stress reliever. Coloring, drawing, painting, playing board games, play dough all that stuff minimizes stress. hope this helps

  8. i moved out when i was 17, so i acted responsibly, graduated and worked to pay bills...grown women play with kids...i think you are mature for your age and maturity is always good b/c unlike the immature people your age, it probably won't take until your 23 years old to figure out your goals and how to support yourself...just don't forget to go out with your friends and have fun before you are forced to have responsibilities

  9. Your 17, act however the h**l you want! :)

just remember what YOU do affects YOUR future.

And it is great you want to help out, but even mature women have time for fun and games.. Just make time, plan a schedule.. Sometimes you need to be responsible, sometimes you need to be a kid..

Your 17, close to the end of childhood..

live it out while you can!
