How does an Americorps NCCC interview go?

What kinds of questions are asked?

i'm a current NCCC Corps member (denver campus). Don't sweat the interview at all, usually the people that do it are chill and really nice. I can't quite remember that much about mine, but they pretty much just ask generic interview quesitions.

i remember them asking something like "tell me about a time you had to be a leader"

"tell me a time when you had to work on a team. how did it turn out?"

"why do you want to do NCCC?"

stuff like that.

it's nothing to be worried about, the person interviewing you is likely to be your age, or maybe even younger. so i'm not sure if that makes it any less intimidating for you. but it's pretty easy.
