How does an Offensive Lineman stance differ from a Defensive Linemen stance?

  1. Offensive linemen are in a three point stance, and they are much more balanced. A good O-lineman doesn't telegraph what he's gonna do by changing where his weight is in his stance. D-linemen can go three or four-point stances, and their butts are much higher, meaning their weight is on their hands, and are going to fly forward.
