Okay, I just got a Kodak camera and it came with an SD/MMC you can hook up to your usb port. I'm not very high tech, so I really don't know what its used for or even how to use it. Can anyone help. I do know that an SD memory card does go in it. Thanks in advance to all.....

  1. SD/MMCs are the memory cards which store the photos you have taken with your digital camera.  Both are about the same size and go right into the memory card slot of your camera.  Depending on the capacity of the card and the megapixel count of your camera, you can take more than a hundred photos with one card.

When the card is full, you can plug your camera to your computer using a USB cable which came with your camera, so you can transfer all the photos you have taken into your computer.  Once all the photos are transferred, you can format the card for you to use it once again.  You may also use a card reader, this is a device that you plug to your computer as well and has slots for different memory cards in order for you to transfer photos and files.

  2. SD or MMC are types of media cards. You put the SD or MMC card in your camera to increase the amount of memory available to take photos.

If you don't know how to insert the media card in your camera, read your manual. If you don't have your manual, download it from Kodak support:
