There are lots of comptetive shooting, for small bore, high powered and air rifles, pistols, and shotguns.

There are local, area, national, world, and Olympic comptetition.

You can enter the lower level events, but must qualify for the upper level events.

There are groups or clubs that host and train people to compete.
