I live in a mobile home park and have recently been given an eviction notice. The woman that manages this trailer park has a dictatorship like hold on it & it's residents. The mass majority of people here are hispanic and speak very little english & they are easily intimidated by her school yard bullying tactics. She unlawfully turns our city-provided water off whenever any of us are late with a rent payment, she gives no prior notice of intent to enter or come on to our property before doing so,she has 3-5 employees which all live on site and spy on whom ever she tells them too by doing such things as writing license plates down, arrival time, departure time & I just recently caught one of her "workers" spying on me with binoculars! She has violated many RCW codes & broken laws to numerous to name.Where can I find a pro-bono lawyer in Pasco, Washington or does anyone know how I can get this filed & into the legal system myself?

  1. Call the county courthouse or the mayor's office.  Ask for the department that handles landlord/tenant issues.  They can probably give you a list of lawyers.  You could also call Catholic Charities to see if they have any resources in that area.  Your local assemblyman or wardman or whatever you call your elected official might be able to give you some direction too.  Legal Aid?  Try them...if they can't help you they may be able to point you in the right direction.

  2. I doubt that things are as one-sided as you portray it.

  3. Not sure if this scenario is a class action situation but some other avenues maybe:

First try your states attorney general office to see if they will help, on the free lawyer maybe some organization that helps the minorities in your area may help, hard to find a lawyer pro-bono in general to do this type of litigation

You can always go pro-se yourself on your issue alone, maybe if there is an local law school you could read up on not only your states landlord tenant law which is easy to understand but you will also have to read up on the mobile home parks they are a little bite different then straight landlord tenant cases
