How does an online high school diploma look on a college application?

I'm considering finishing high school through online studies so that I can have more time to spend working on music. But I don't know if an online diploma will be taken seriously on a college application. Any ideas??? Any details you'd like to share???

Here is your answer.  A high school diploma is not required for application into college.  If you want to get into college, enter through "continuing ed"  This is like a backdoor for those that don't get in.  You will get in through this program, and they won't need any record of your grades in hs.
